This consultation session is a 15 minute phone call to discover if Brain Training can support you in reaching your goals. Amazing Brains has top of the line technology to shift people into their best selves. We have a diverse set of protocols, so whether you want to focus better, perform at your peak, regulate your nervous system more effectively, recover from a brain injury, or increase your mood, or decrease your anxiety; we can help.

Brain Map Review

This session is to review your data from your brain map session. At Amazing Brains, we pride ourselves in understanding that our clients are more than just their brainwaves, and everyone comes to us with unique goals and challenges. In this session, we'll review your brain map (EEG) with you, and come up with a collaborative plan to help you feel your best and perform your best going forward.

Brain Training

Brain training - a session of brain wave entrainment to shift you into a balanced state. This session is a one-on-one, in office session.

Rosa Gamboa
(She/Her/Hers)

Rosa

is a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is trained in multiple interventions including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR and has some knowledge of DBT, sand tray, and play therapy practices.

Rosa grew up in the community and as a result not only feels deeply connected to those in it, but also passionate about supporting their wellbeing. She enjoys working with children and youth and has experience with diverse and underserved groups and LGBTQ+ populations. She is excited to integrate therapeutic interventions into brain training sessions to further support individual’s goals.

Rosa is a School-Based Clinician BMHS and during her free time enjoys spending time outside and with friends and family.

Lauren Plaza

Lauren

is a brain performance coach in our Avon office. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness with an emphasis in counseling and public health. She finds great beauty in life and hopes to guide others to find inner peace and joy. Lauren is passionate about helping individuals unlock their potential and break cycles that no longer serve them.

Ruth Razo

Ruth

has a BA in Spanish and International Development from the University of Guelph. She’s certified in non-violent crisis intervention and has a background in working with youth through various wilderness programs, as well as case work for individuals with special needs. Ruth has been involved in numerous non-profit initiatives for education and is passionate about alternative education and working with both kids and adults to help build environmental awareness and a relationship to nature. Her particular interests at Amazing Brains are working with people struggling with head injuries as well as with children.
